2nd July:
Jitesh and Ranju are going to USA…....We are going to Hemel Hempstead. Girish and his wife Jayu will be coming tomorrow....

3rd July:
We have a gala time....

4th July:
Myself: ”Zubin, I am so very angry on Girish. I hate it….when he does things
like that…blah blah blah”

Zubin: (as usual) ”Ummm…."

Myself: (angry..as usual) ”Zubin are you listening”

Zubin: ”Yes dear…. I am.”

Myself: ”Next time we meet Girish I am telling him this….I am going to fight with
him… Zubin you better start the topic…. I can’t do that… so it’s better you
start and then leave the rest to me….but you start this conversation”

Zubin: ”Shonu, please leave me out of this…. This is between Girish and
yourself....you guys sort it out.”

Myself: ”Zubin, please re……just start the topic na…or else I can't tell him
what’s on my mind....... You know me.... If there’s something on my mind
it’ll show on my face.... I'll be rude to him till I haven't cleared things
out....please Zubin......pretty please..do it for me na”

Zubin: ”Ok… I’ll remind you. That’s about it.”

15th July:
Chatting with Girish….

Myself: ”How are you?”

Girish: ”Fine….thanx for the book… sorry couldn’t call you guys yesterday.”

Myself:That’s fine…. You better be ready for a fight”

Girish: ”What’s the matter?”

Myself:There’s no fun in fighting over the chat…. When we meet in person ….
You’ll have it from me…”

16th July:

We pick up Girish from his office….
Girish:How are you?”

Myself: ”I am fine… how are you? Girish I am angry on you.” (turning to
Zubin) ”Zubin, what was the reason?”

Zubin: ”Oh sorry ......I forgot. Was it regarding some telephonic
conversation?”

Myself: (grrr..)”No it wasn't ....it was something else. What’s the use? You were
to remind me na.....
(turning to Girish)”</i>You wait .......mujhe jaldi hi yaad aayega"

I am still scratching my head over it..........

I remember:-))

the first time i tried cooking in the pressure cooker.....
i put sufficient amount of water in the cooker but did not know that the separators in which I placed rice, dal and potatoes, also had to be filled with water for the food to get cooked.

the first time i went to the cinema.....
it was with my friend, to see the film maine pyaar kiya . we took the tickets for balcony...went and sat in the front row of dress circle, thinking that was balcony.

the first time i made

Any bidders? [24 Oct 2003|08:50am]
[ mood | ecstatic ]

A funny thing happened yesterday....

I was searching for the email id of a friend by the name Prashant Nayampalli. I searched on yahoo....it showed that they found a person by that name but I would have to pay thirty five dollars for any further information about him. No way was I going to do that.....so I quit yahoo and continued my search on msn and this was one of the things I found......

Find it on eBay.co.uk eBay, the world's largest online marketplace Click here to buy and sell "prashant nayampalli" on ebay.co.uk

WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY DIWALI

five years ........... seven houses!!! [23 Jul 2003|11:47am]
*Shifting to a new house is fun.....fun as long as others do all the laborious bits and all you do is eat and play. As a kid moving to a new house was one of the most enjoyable experiences.......new house, new environment, new place and new friends .....and as children we love these kind of changes.....don’t we?

We have moved to eight houses in twenty years......eight houses is as far as I can remember, but I am sure that my parents must have shifted several more times. My sister and I loved every moment of *it......reason one being that for the next few days we would be eating in hotels. Well I think as kids we all love anything and everything that wasn’t home cooked, right???....and reason two.....MOM .....yes mom.....she would take leave from work for a week or so to unpack and arrange the house.....and it was always wonderful to see her at home when we got back tired from school.

I consider myself a jinx in *this case. Finally my parents have moved into their own place after I got married and moved away......... hopefully they won’t be moving out of that house any more(keeping my fingers crossed;-).....and now the curse is on my husband......in the five years that we have been married.......we have shifted seven times and believe me it’s no more "fun" now that I am in my parent’s shoes. Converting a house into a home is an exhausting task......both physically and mentally. When we moved to our new house last month......for the first week we were deciding on the arrangements of the furniture. Several times I woke Zubin up in the middle of the night just to tell him that he would have to shift the furniture again....well that was my level of obsession. After a whole month of sleepless nights and tiring days I can say that we have settled in our new home.....finally.

I have given my dad “The Title” of Retd. Shifter....now that he has retired and handed over the position(it’s the heirloom I guess:-p) to me, I sincerely hope and pray that I am the last heir to *this throne. Perhaps daddy and I could write a book on Dos and Don’ts of Moving to a New House..... And if we happen to make good money out of the book......it would cover the all the cost on transportation and hotels that we have incurred over the years ;-)
